UGC and Reviews entry Terms and Conditions
Introduction. Thank you for submitting User Generated Content (UGC) (as defined below) through the Butcher’s Pet Care website. The UGC submitted by visitors to the Butcher’s Pet Care website such as yourself is helpful to many parties including other dog and cat owners, retailers and manufacturers. You probably already know UGC is heavily relied-upon by consumers when considering purchases. What you may not know is that UGC is also used by product manufacturers for many other purposes, including product development and improvement and marketing. By submitting content you are helping improve the product and service quality for the entire market. Butcher’s Pet Care would like to be the first to thank you for your contribution!
We have found that there are a number of common questions that pet owners have about the submission process. We have tried to answer those questions as thoroughly as possible below. Please review these questions and explanations because they control your submission of UGC. If you’ve read the information below and still have questions or would like further explanation you can contact our Team at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will respond to you as soon as possible.
What do Butcher’s Pet Care use the UGC for? In order to use the UGC as described in these terms, Butcher’s needs a license to use the UGC. Accordingly, you hereby grant Butcher’s Pet care and each of their sublicensees and affiliates a perpetual, unlimited, non exclusive, fully sub licensable, irrevocable, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You further grant Butcher’s Pet Care, Butcher’s agents and each of their sublicensees and affiliates the right to use your name and likeness that you submit in connection with such content.
What you may post: Depending on the Butcher’s Pet Care Review service, you may post reviews, comments, photos, questions and other user-generated content (collectively “UGC”).
What you may not post: You may not post any UGC that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, infringes the intellectual property rights of any party, contains software viruses, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any form of spam. Additionally, you may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any UGC. Butcher’s Pet Care reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove any UGC from the reviews pages of its website for any reason or no reason.
What happens to UGC that you submit? Any UGC you submit may be used for other advertising purposes and posted to publicly-facing websites, including other websites across the Internet, in addition to the website that you originally submitted the UGC. Accordingly, please do not post anything that you do not want to share with the general public. In addition, as mentioned in the introduction, the UGC that you submit may be used for advertising, analytic and other statistical purposes including, for example, product improvement, benchmarking (e.g. where various products/services or categories of products/services are compared against each other or against the market as a whole), sentiment analysis (e.g. using the data from multiple reviews it is possible to determine how consumers as a whole feel about a product/service), and online behavioral advertising.

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made by FW Baker Group Ltd and its UK subsidiaries (“FW Baker Group”), Dockham Way, Crick, Northants NN6 7TZ pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and covers the financial year from 1st August 2015 to 31st July 2016. This statement sets out the steps that F W Baker Group has taken, and are continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not occurring within our business and our supply chains.
We are committed to improving our practices to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.
As members of SEDEX we adhere to and apply their codes of practice which covers slavery and human trafficking.
FW Baker Group is a leading supplier of wet dog food and cat food in a variety of different formats, into the retail and wholesale sectors with a turnover of £90M. There is a subsidiary in Poland which sells branded products into continental Europe, serviced through the Crick plant.
The business employs 292 staff across the two units.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include manufacturers of animal products, mainly based in the UK, and other constituents from sources in Mainland Europe. A small amount of our products are sourced from South East Asia.

F W Baker Group works closely with our employment agencies to ensure that they are legally compliant and that they work to our employment standards.
Due diligence processes
F W Baker Group operates a supplier approval and management process which aims to identify risks in the supply chain through extensive questionnaires, and to be prepared to be audited, so that their standards will stand up to inspection. We are aiming to ensure that all of our suppliers are SEDEX registered and that they have all recently completed supplier questionnaires and been risk assessed.
We have trained a cross-section of senior managers as part of the “Stronger Together” initiative, which is sponsored by all of the UK major retailers and the Gangmasters Licencing Authority (GLA), which requires suppliers to make sure that they have procedures in place to identify and eliminate modern Slavery and human trafficking.
We are rolling out an internal training and awareness program within F W Baker Group to train all senior managers and factory staff and support a “whistle blowing” program to identify any issues that need addressing.
Plans for the future
We are committed to reviewing and improving all of our systems and procedures relating to our supply chain and to include all indirect purchases and services, such as site security, vending, catering, contractors, etc. and to identify and address all risks in connection with Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
